Faith in Food: Adopting Earth-Friendly Practices in Religious Communities

CreatureKind, Jewish Initiative for Animals, & Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry invite you to an important interfaith panel about connecting the efforts of institutional green teams, justice teams, and animal and food advocacy in religious communities. Industrial farming has a profound effect on our earth’s natural resources, producing enormous quantities of waste and pollution, threatening the health of workers and nearby residents, and damaging ecosystems. We will explore how faith spaces can approach the intertwined issues of climate work, animal advocacy, and food justice together. Faith in Food: Adopting Earth-Friendly Practices in Religious Communities will include perspectives from religious leaders in the Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Unitarian Universalist communities.
